WHO WE ARE
Welcome to Atölye 217. We have established our workshop in 2012 to make furniture for our own taste. In our workshop we produce original pieces by combining wood and hand painted ceramic tiles. We use high quality wood and paint in the units that we produce. Our furnitures are hand made and “unique”.

Fehime & Kutluk Armaoğlu

Fehime Armaoğlu has started her painting education after working in multinational companies for 20 years. She has learned different techniques from artists like Tülin Onat, Bubi, Işıl Özışık, Suna Tüfekçibaşı and Javad Souleimanpour. She worked on porcelain painting in Elma Art Workshop. Currently she is using glaze  painting techniques for ceramic tiles and also doing the paint work of the furnitures produced in the workshop.

Kutluk Armaoğlu has graduated from Middle East Technical University Mechanical Engineering Department in 1974 and  has worked for 38 years in different positions in various domestic and multinational automotive companies. He has started designing and manufacturing wood furniture in 2000 and is continuing his art since 2012 under the Atolye 217 name.
